Can you start design or development without content?

We want to make sure your project follows our thoughtful procedures and gets the attention it deserves... Therefore we cannot start the designs or development prior to signing off the content for your website, and here are some reasons why:

1. In our experience across hundreds of projects not having the content for the design and development stages results in projects going over budget and deadlines being missed.
2. If the content supplied doesn't fit the designed section it therefore duplicates work for KIJO in needing to redesign the section.
3. If the actual content is a different length to the placeholder copy, it means we need to rejig the whole page and move everything down which means extra hours spent on the project and missed deadlines.
4. The images need to match the copy. Replacing the images after the copy is supplied, again means extra hours spent on the project.
5. In some cases, the tone of the copy can shape the actual design, we want to make sure yours go hand in hand.
6. When we quote for your project we have a development budget for adding the content to the pages. We only have budget for adding the final approved content.
